My school district is rampant with random login errors, all having the report of some form of "LGNWNT32.DLL-923 An Unexpected error has occurred: X (8001)", where X is 9 or 15. The NW client is 4.91 sp2 or sp4. The servers are all NW6.5sp6. See my example below.

1) Does anyone have any documentation or other explanation of what the number in front of the "(8001) means. That is, what are the potential values of X in the statement above?

2) There is a three digit number following the "LGNWNT32.DLL-zzz". What do the zzz's represent? Any documentation or otherwise?

Please don't get stuck trying to resolve the specific errors in the example. I'm looking for general definitions about LGNWNT32.DLL.

Thanks for your help.

Example:
