We are in the process of migrating our current environment from Netware 6.5 SP7 to OES2 Linux. The the current phase is transitioning our 2 Master eDir servers over to Linux. These 2 servers each hold a copy of all replicas and serve as the SLP DA for the network.

I have looked through the documentation and can't find a definitive answer on how to properly setup to DAs on SLES. Each server acting as a DA would need to also register itself with the other DA. Have I just missed something in the Docs?

It also appears that I have to set slp tcp = on with the Netware servers to get them to work correctly against OpenSLP. With it set to off, doing a display slp services just hangs with deactiving da . . activating da over and over.

Is there a way to force OpenSLP to store registrations so that they are still present after a reboot?
