We have a client using BorderManager 3.8 as well as using an external
SPAM filtering company. Here's the problem:

We've created a rule that should only allow smtp (Port 25) traffic into
their mail server from a specified range of external ip addresses
(MXToolbox). The problem is that even though we have the rule, anyone
can connect via 25 into their mail server. I've provided the rules below:

Packet Type: smtp

Source: PUBLIC
All Circuits
64.18.0.0/255.255.240.0

Destination: PRIVATE
All Circuits
Our Internal Mail server IP Address

Comment: 2nd IP Range for MXToolbox

#5
Packet Type: smtp

Source: PUBLIC
All Circuits
208.123.70.0/255.255.255.0

Destination: PRIVATE
All Circuits
Our Internal Mail server IP Address

Comment: IP Range for MXToolbox

Anyone see anything wrong with this config? Anyone else out there
successfully used BM to only allow smtp traffic from a specific range of
IP's?

TIA,

Ben
