I currently have in production a NW6.5 SP7 file and print server which is also running Zen7 SP1. The users login to this server, it has the homedirs and shared space. It is the only file and print server. I am planning on migrating the server to new hardware, file and print services only. I want to reuse the old (current) server for Zen7. I do not have inventory running, distributing only a couple of simple apps, and doing imaging.
If I use the migration strategy, the old server will be shut down, no eDir. So to use it, I would have to rebuild. I won't mind that and reinstalling Zen7 if the workstation objects and apps will work. Or is there an easier way?
