I was wondering if anyone else uses ZEN 10 with mobile computers, as we have an issue with load times when not connected to the internal network.

Software:
Windows XP, Novell Client 4.91 SP4 with mandatory patches, ZEN 10.0.3 client

Problem:
If a laptop has network connectivity during logon it will try to authenticate to the ZEN server(s). If the laptop is not located on the company network (home, hotel, etc.) it will attempt to connect and fail. The problem is there is a timeout of 2 minutes per server, in our case we have two servers and there is an extra 4 minutes added to the logon time.

No network, Workstation Only selected, Total time = 50 seconds (30 seconds to logon screen, 20 seconds for desktop to load)

Internal network, Workstation Only selected, Total Time = 60 seconds (30 seconds to logon screen, 30 seconds for desktop to load)

Internal network, Novell logon, Total Time = 90 seconds (30 seconds to logon screen, 60 seconds for desktop to load)

External network, Workstation Only selected, Total Time = 5 minutes (30 seconds to logon screen, 4:30 seconds for desktop to load)

Is there a way to change the timeout values for ZEN server authentication?
