When mapping drives using Windows Explorer in a Windows 2000 environment in a large corporate environment with about 200 servers running NW 5.1 to 5.7 using NW Client 4.91 sp4 I frequently get the message "The network path cannot be found'". If I look at the volume using ConsoleOne I find I can see it OK, confirming that I have read permissions. If I then try to map a drive to the volume I have just looked with ConsoleOne, the mapping is successful. It seems as though accessing the volume through ConsoleOne somehow makes the Windows mapping work OK.

Is there anything I can do to allow mapping to occur from Windows without first accessing though ConsoleOne?
