We're seeing this intermittently while installing the 10.0.3 client on both x64 and x86 SP1 Vista machines. This is a SLES 10 SP1 server with a fresh 10.0.3 ISO install.

Our workstations have the Novell Client 1.0 (Update 5), iPrint 5.04, and GroupWise 7.0.3 installed. Antivirus is Trend Micro OfficeScan 8.

After the PreAgent reboots the machine, the first (workstation-only) login takes forever and Windows informs us the profile is corrupt (a "TEMP" user profile is created and used). Once the machine is rebooted, the local windows account is recreated as username.MACHINE in \Users and all previous profile settings are lost.

Here's the Windows event viewer log from the time the PreAgent is finishing up its install until the corruption:

Is anyone else seeing this? We're fortunate that we haven't started deploying the agent yet, but it's becoming a pain to re-image our test machines after the agent causes this issue.

We've also seen the following issues with the agent (also intermittent):

- The Network and Sharing status icon in the Notification area shows a red "X" and the status window says "Access is denied" (see attached screenshot).

- DNS fails completely. The DNS servers come successfully through DHCP but the agent seems to be causing Windows DNS to fail.

Thanks,

Jason K.
