Viewing the owner of files in Windows Explorer

    Hi there.

Does anyone know of a way for Window Explorer to display the owner of files correctly when using the Novell client against an OES2 server? Owners show up as S-1-1-0. The only way we can get the proper ownership is to go into the properties of the file and look at the Netware info, which is a bit of a pain.

    Thanks.

Afraid the "NetWare Info" tab is the only thing that can show it.

Microsoft's own owner information display, which is where the S-1-1-0
SID is showing up, can only show the Windows account permissions on
the file. Novell file systems track the owner information in terms of
an eDirectory user objects, not a Windows accounts.

Bugger... although I suspected as much.

Many thanks for your quick reply!
