One of our OES SP2 servers suffered a power outage while doing a rug update that included a kernel patch. After the power was restored, the server wouldn't boot. I had to re-install an older kernel to get it started.

However, "rug pl -u" shows No Patches Found. Is there a way to force rug to rescan the actually installed packages and report the correct results? Do I delete the rug database or something else? And, if so, how?

I couldn't find a TID on this, but it must be a fairly common problem.
