Hello All,

We have our data residing on an NSS volume, OES (Linux Kernel) with Backup, directory quotas, user space quotas, and salvage attributes. The problem we're having is that if user1 has a power point file open and user2 attempts to open the same file (user2 is prompted that it's in use and can open the file as read-only), it's causing problems with user1 saving the document. User1 must save the document as a different name.

The folder containing the ppt doc is set for RWECMF Trustee rights for all groups in the company so there are no restrictions. So I'm at a complete loss. I will check to see if other file types have the same problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.
