Hi folks,

I'm trying to update lots of clients with ACU, but initial testing shows that they will get prompted every time. I'd like it to be completely forceful, whilst using AdministratorMessage= to inform them of what's happening. However... Every time the client checks for updates it spawns a prompt saying that an update is available and "Would you like to install the update?", followed by Yes/No. I'd like to force a Yes :-)

I've had a look at http://forums.novell.com/novell-prod...u-prompts.html and have checked that acu.ini has

[LaunchInstall]
Launch=Yes
[DisplayDialog]
Display=No
[UnattendFile]
Use=yes
File=unattend.txt
Reboot=Yes

and unattend.txt has...

[SetupNWInstallOptions]
!Reboot_Or_Ask=Reboot
!DisplayInitialScreen=NO
[NovellNetWareClientParameters]
!AcceptLicenseAgreement=YES
!DoInstall=YES

These config files are used as part of an unattended post-install script on some modified Windows CDs that we use, so I know they work when installing onto a fresh install. However, I'm at a loss when it comes to an unattended upgrade.

If anyone could shed some light on the situation it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Kyle
