I was thinking how awful it is that kids don't know history anymore. Make
sure on this holiest of American Holidays, to tell them a bit about the
Boston Tea Party, which many call the beginning of the Revolution.

Well, these men, our founding fathers, were upset about a tax break given to
some company or something. Then I think Hancock was mad about it, and then
....and this is the good part...they were so mad they dressed up like Indians
and threw the tea into the harbor. This was brave because ...um... well the
British would blame the Indians for the crime or something. Hmmm. That
sounded better in grade school.

But see? It's all about taxes. So, teach your children about how you hate
paying taxes, and the proper way to handle that anger. It's not just aboout
fireworks, ya know.
