We upgraded our Macs from 10.4 to 10.5.3/4 , and as a result our AFP
file store Netware 6.5 SP6 servers went into abend free fall.

Novell advised us to upgrade our servers to Netware 6.5 SP7 with the
following patches, which we did -

22 Apr 2008 - CLIB and DSAPI Libraries
15 Apr 2008 - Winsock Suite Update
1 Apr 2008 - iPrint update to NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 7
22 Feb 2008 - TCP update for NetWare 6.5

31 Oct 2007 - Updated COMN.NSS module for NetWare 6.5 SP7
16 Oct 2007 - Network Time Protocol 3.0 (NTPv3) Post SP7 NLM
16 Oct 2007 - NW65SP6_CIMOM4

The Macs still caused exactly the same abend as on SP6 frequently -

As soon as we re-imaged our Macs back to 10.4 the abend went away.

In trying to diagnose this issue in 10.5.x we have tried disabling
Splotlight and looking at other common Mac apps like FF3 that may be
causing this, but cannot find the culprit.
Has anyone else rolled our Mac OS 10.5.x in a Netware AFP environment,
and if so have they seem the above abend?

being the line to look out for.
