What are the best ways to push files to the local PC?
Should we consider VB or perl scripting using Zen DM 7?
We have about 300 WP macros and templates we want to push to the desktop once, then push out new ones as they get changed.
I have been testing putting the macros and templates on a network drive and having a batch file copy all files to the local drive every time the user logs in via the container login script. I wonder what we should consider doing instead. I figure the copying will tax the server when everyone logs in in the AM. We have about 200 users.
Should we just push them out to the desktop over a week or two, empty the folder and just place new ones as they are changed?
