So we just got some new Dell D630's in and set out to image them. Some of our techs use boot cd's to image systems at their desk. Turns out the new CD\DVD drives dell is using in their D630\830 and small form factor systems can not for some reason read the ZenWorks config file. However if you burn the boot iso to a DVD it reads it just fine. We tried three different boot cd's all different versions with the same results, can't read ZenWorks config file. PXE booting works just fine. And if we swap out the cd rom with an earlier type it works just fine. Anyone out there see these issues with the new Dell systems?
