Is it possible to have a volume in a cluster that is stored on a san and replicated by the san activated by another cluster at a DR location?

The concept is to have basically have 2 different clusters configured in a tree with common resources.

During normal operation I have a 2 node OES cluster running in my primary data center storing nss volume data on a netapp filer. That filer is using snapmirror to send snapshots of the data volumes to a remote site.

In the event of a failure the secondary site has a second cluster that activates the snapshot copies of my nss volumes. I make a change to dns to get users that had been using my volumes at my primary site to connect to a copy of that data now presented by my secondary site with totally different cluster resources, even though the data is the same data with the same trustee rights.
