I'm missing some critical piece. Some of my LUM-enabled users are getting a
home directory created on the server - others aren't. Users with a home
directory are able to login with ftp.

Here are my current /home subdirectories.

empire:/home # ls -l
total 16
drwx--x--x 3 root root 4096 May 30 12:21 .casa
drwxr-xr-x 8 gnichola admingroup 4096 Jun 4 10:39 admin
drwxr-xr-x 8 cswihart admingroup 4096 Jul 31 10:09 cswihart

Created a test user using iManager 2.7.0
Enabled the user for Linux User Management
checked the Linux Profile tab - and it shows the /home/test directory, but
it never gets created on the server.

What am I forgetting to do?
