I got a notebook with SUSE 10.1 and decided to stay with it. I've had endless problems,

It's got 1 partition on a 80 GB HDD and the home folder won't allow data any more than 1 gb to be installed. I've tried a lot to load data more than a GB but it just won't let me. So the million dollar question is where is the storage space all lost?? the disk usage analyzer shows 56 gb free.

I'm not able to login to a open free wi fi environment, the secure network works fine, where I'm able to enter after entering the WEP 64 hex passkey.
