Hello everyone,

my customer had just encountered a weird problem with the generic BM access rule (this rule is quoted as example in TID#10056952):

deny http://*sex*/*

This rule seems to filter also additional URLs, which contain
following
substring:

se%E8

This substring must be placed after the site's name, e.g. after the
first slash, for example

http://www.novell.com/se%E8

or, more generally

http://www.novell.com/anytextse%E8anytext

This behaviour really causes troubles to my customer, as similar
substring is occassionally generated in the result of search engines
for
words containing national character, which is represented by the %E8 string in the result.

The customer's SW configuration is BM3.7SP2 / NW6.0SP3.

Could anybody please verify this problem and pass it to Novell?

TIA
