Our school district has been using SurfControl for some time now.
Yesterday
I removed SurfControl and installed the evaluation version of
Connectotel's
LinkWall product. We planned to switch, but I needed to evaluate theprogram first.

I installed and configured it according to the instructions in the
Novell
AppNote of Februrary, 2003. Immediately we began having abends on the

BorderManager server. I don't know what all was triggering the
abends, but
I can give one specific example. If I accessed www.cnn.com from
Netscape
Communicator 4.8, which we use extensively here, the BorderManager
server
would abend and the page would not be delivered to the browser. If,
on the
other hand, I accessed the same site from Internet Explorer 5.5 or
Mozilla
1.4 RC1, the page would appear and the server would continue to
function
normally. Because of the abends I have had to change back to
SurfControl.
Now the server functions correctly again without abending.

I have already sent an e-mail to Connectotel and am awaiting a
response.
However, I decided to ask here, too, in case this is a BorderManager
issue.
We are using BorderManager 3.7 on NetWare 5.1. Patches installed
include
NW51SP6, BM37SP2, and BM37FP3. The last abend from the server log
will be
available for a few days at www.av.k12.mo.us/temp/abend.log. The
problem
appears to have occurred in ACLCHECK.NLM.

I would appreciate any assistance that anyone can provide.
