I was told that it is a known problem with SP7 so I am posting the issue at the abend forum and hope someone can help me to avoid the abend.

Our GroupWise 7.02 server (running on NW6.5 Sp7) with the latest post SP7 patches got 2 abends over the past 2 Saturdays. On Aug 9, I do have the BackupExpress running the backup job around the time the server abended. However, on Aug 16, there is no backup job running so I can't explain how the server abended again.

The server was fairly stable when it was running on NW6.5Sp5. I patched the server to NW6.5 SP7 end of July and experienced 2 abends since the upgrade.

Should I upgrade to GW 7 SP3 HP1? I am on eDirect 8.7.3.9, is this a fairly simple upgrade?
