One of our Netware 6 servers with (Dell Poweredge 2650) dual CPUs has an average 45% CPU utilization.

When I look into the remote manager, the processor 0 is always at 95%, but the processor 1 is at 2-3%. It is the same even the server is not busy and never back to normal until server rebooted.

After server rebooted, it will stay at normal, both CPUs under 10% for a week, then processor 0 shot up to 95% again and never back to normal (happened at afternoon, server is not running bakcup).

It does not slow down users login. When user copy a folder or backup is running on the server, the processor 0 will drop down to 70% -90%, the processor 1 remain unchanged with less than 10%

The server is Netware 6 with SP5 and it is running Symantec anitvirus Corporation 9.x

Any ideas?

Thanks
Jimmy
