I have just installed BorderManager 3.8 on Netware 6.5. Using it as my

gateway, I'm able to make outbound connections on all ports. I don't
want
people making SMTP connections to servers outside the firewall. I
created an
access rule to Deny port 25 from Source 10.0.0.0 subnet to Any
Destination.
However, it doesn't seem to be working. It seems to have no effect.

Inbound access rules are working, and I've got reverse proxies and the
HTTP
transparent proxy all working well. But, obviously, I'm still missingsomething. I'm using NWADMIN to create the rules. Are there access
rules
somewhere else that could be trumping my access rules in NWADMIN? The
HTTP
transparent proxy seems to be obeying my rules, because unless there's
an
Allow outbound to port 80, I get a Forbidden message. But, maybe
there's
something else opening other ports that I don't know about.

Thanks for your help,
