We are a Netware shop (6.5sp7) running DHCP and DNS on a Netware 6.5 sp7 box. We have about 10 MS win2k servers in our environment.---they are not managed by edir. I have been noticing the following log entries in our DHCP log:

Credential accepted by DNS server!!

10.10.10.35 is a static IP address on a Win2k server.

10.10.10.30 is the Netware DHCP server.

Why is the DHCP server picking up requests from a static server?
