We recently migrated from NW 6.5 – OES1 to SLES 10 SP1 – OES2 (NSS volumes). Since the migration we’ve noticed slow performance from a MS Access 2000 database that is hosted on one of the NSS volumes.

I’m trying to determine if there is a direct correlation with OES2/NSS and MSAccess..and which one is the culprit regarding this issue.
One thing to note is that we did not have to run migfiles and migtrustees to migrate our volumes, which are located on an EMC SAN. Instead we simply unplugged iscsi from old server to new server, then mounted the NSS volumes as is. As a result we had tweak a few trustee permissions here and there, but the remaining data was intact and all other applications worked fine.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
