when called from a Vista client running either IE7, IE8 beta and, now,
Firefox 3.0, the authentication page of the border proxy (3.9SP1 on
Netware 6.5SP7) produces a timeout before showing.
There is a simple but barely acceptable workaround: one can simply
deactivate TLS in IE and FF, to keep just SSL. But is this a good thing
to tell to young students who also follow computer security courses?
And it is rather bizarre, as the other web based NW services (Apache ou
httpstk based) accept TLS.
I submitted an enhancement request, but does anyone of you know a
simpler way?
