I've set up an OES2 server fully patched.I set up LUMand Sambashare for aNSS volume. If I set the filesystem rights to directories on the volume directly to the user object or to the container, the users can connect to the samba share with their eDirectory credientials. If I set the rights on groups, the rights are ignored and the users cannot login to the share (unless of course the specific user rights are set). I've tried setting rights on groups that are linux enabled and on groups that are "just" eDirectory groups. No difference, the rights are not there when the user tries to login. Is this a known problem or is there something I'm missing. Thanks for any helpful suggestions.
