Environment: OES2 Linux

I will be adding a RAID-1 array to a client's server.
Currently there are two arrays installed. One is an EVMS managed drive with an NSS volume using the entire disk.

I wish to replace the 2nd (EVMS) array with a higher capacity array but I do not want to use the whole array for NSS. Instead, I wish to create an ext3 partition that will be mounted beneath the /var directory on the system volume in order to expand the storage for Groupwise--which runs slow on NSS.

Can I make an ext3 partition on the EVMS drive alongside an NSS volume as well?
