I have a few OES 2 Linux servers in my eDirectory tree now. Mixed environment of NW 6.0 SP5, 6.5 SP5.

My OES 2 servers have the nssid.sh script file.

So that tells me that OES 1 for Linux existed in my tree at some point before OES 2 for Linux?

Now when I run this file, I don't know why Novell didn't exclude directories like /proc, and /sys, but regardless, it takes FOREVER and have tons of chown errors from those directories.

It's changing UIDs of 81 to 80 on files. How do I know this is really required to run (although the documentation states it). It seems like it's just not a good script right now.

Thoughts anyone?
