We're in the process of building a web application that eventually will have to print PDF documents at a remote location at set times each day.
Ideally we would simply set up a (cron) job that accesses the iprint server in some way to get the necessary PDF documents printed.

Our web application is written using PHP, but rather than opening a connection to the iprint server and having to plough through the IPP protocol, we would like to keep it as simple as possible.

Are there any cunning minds out there who have encountered this problem before and come up with a solution?
