Hi all,
I've tracked down an ifolder 3.5 problem (if anyone has any insight on how to get 3.5 to 3.6 AND migrate all data, etc would love to hear it.
Problem was ifolder would completely crash every day as it got under load, around 11:45 daily. Finally tracked it down to the apache daily maintenance script running at 11:45. I disabled that, and it has run perfectly ever since.
Problem now, though. My access log is now up to 2 gigs and growing, hasn't been rotated in a week or two. To disable the log rotation, I simply moved the /etc/logrotate.d/apache2 script out of that folder. The script basically stops apache, bzips the log, touches a new logfile, then restarts apache. Does apache really have to be stopped and started for this?
My other alternative, I guess, is to try to get all this to happen at 2 in the morning instead of midday when ifolder is under load.
Thanks all
