Just wandering if there is a way to reset the "Maximum idle time
before
requiring a new login", when a user logs out and another user logs in.
The
scenario is if I set the idle time to lets say 5 minutes, and a user
was on
the internet right before logging out. If another person logs in and
starts
the internet within that 5 minute period, authentication services uses
the
prior users login because the 5 minute idle time has not been reached.
I'm
running SSL authentication only because of a mixed Mac and Windows
environment. I have a rule that deny's a group, thus allowing all
others.
The rule works like a charm, but is flawed if the idle timeout holds
between
logins. I know I can reduce the idle time, yet I'm trying to avoid
end-user
frustration at the same time that I'm trying to deny usage to
restricted
users. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
