Against my advice, we are using raid 5 as our backup solution. There was a glitch in our network when some roofers cut a piece of fiber. When the fiber was cut we lost several very important directories off vol1 on our server. Some of these were not being accessed at the time, others were. I have run an ndsrepair -U, but have no idea how to look at an OES2 server to even see the volumes other than sys, much less how to recover any files that disappeared from what is in fact a hardware issue not even at the server. I know the names of the directories and such since I can look at the old netware server I replaced last year, but how can I get in and "unpurge" this stuff that disappeared?

Thanks, David
