No problem, we think. Remove all the files in the Zenworks folders
and all references in the registry and do a fresh re-install.

No dice. Although we've tried to scrub every possible reference to
the previous Adaptive Agent in the registry/file system, a new
Adaptive Agent install continues to fail with the message "Adaptive
Agent already exists).

I've tried every trick I can think of - stopping services; stopping
processes - nothing works.

Is there any "magic bullet" (particular services, files, or registry
entries) which can be removed to allow a fresh install to proceed?

We'd prefer not to reimage :-)
