I am looking into a "Same Server Data Migration Upgrade" by doing the following on my NetWare 6.5 Sp5 servers:

1.) Remove NetWare server from tree
2.) Begin install of SLES 10 SP1 with OES 2
3.) Format my first RAID 1 volume with EXT3 partitions for OS
4.) Leave second RAID 5 volume alone which contains NetWare NSS
5.) After install, ensure NetWare NSS Pool and Volume accessible

Now, I have tested this 5 times, and works GREAT, except it does not bring the trustees and my user quotas along with it.

So, do you think these steps may work, and would you recommend different set of commands:

1.) From existing OES 2 for Linux server, use mls to generate yaml file of info from NetWare server volumes
2.) From existing OES 2 for Linux server, use maptrustees and migtrustees to complete new yaml file for trustees and User Quotas of volumes
3.) Remove NetWare server from tree
4.) Begin install of SLES 10 SP1 with OES 2
5.) Format my first RAID 1 volume with EXT3 partitions for OS
6.) Leave second RAID 5 volume alone which contains NetWare NSS
7.) After install, ensure NetWare NSS Pool and Volume accessible
8.) Restore trustee and user quota information from yaml file created in first 2 steps

Thoughts?
