Hi folks,

I need to submit a ZCM design to upper management for approval of the project and budget for hardware. However, I am still in middle of testing so may be you guys can help.
We have one head office and two main branches with 2300 office users and 500 remote sales reps. Apps/site: 200; Storage/Site: 800GB. We use ZEN7 for Apps Deployment, Remote control, Imaging and hardware inventory. Here's my proposed design:
- One Zone
- HeadOffice: Three ZCM primary servers-
a. For application Deployment: Dual-Core, 3.5GHz, 8GB Memory, 1TB Storage.
b. For Imaging: Dual-Core, 2.6GHz, 4GB Memory, 2TB Storage.
c. For Reporting: Dual-Core, 3.5GHz, 8GB Memory, 500GB Storage.
- For each of the main branches:
a. For application Deployment: Dual-Core, 3.5GHz, 8GB Memory, 1TB Storage.
b. For Imaging: Dual-Core, 2.6GHz, 4GB Memory, 2TB Storage.

Questions:
- Would this be overkill? (CPU & Memory)? I was told that as ZCM is more server intensive than ZEN7 server, the more powerful and memory the primary server, the better. On my test server, the ZCC takes a long time to load and is always slow.
- Would ZCM 10 works better in a 64bit architecture?

TIA

T.C.
