I have this issue occuring on a couple of different servers with varying cofigurations. It's hard for me to believe we're the only shop seeing this, as it's happening on more than a couple of servers.

The servers have been up and in use for a while, and salvage has worked historically for a couple of them.

Now, when salvaging a file in NSS, the entire server comes down, hard.

No errors in /var/log/messages,

In /var/log/novell/ncpserv.log I found this:

I have an SR open with tech support, but was curious if anyone else had managed to kill thier server by trying to salvage deleted files?
