Hello NG

We have the following servers installed in our environment. SLES10 SP1 with
OES2

In our environment we work with a software that use ldap for authentication.
The problem is, that the application client need about 90 seconds to login.
Tests with ldap browser doesn't call this problem. The ldap browser works
without problems, the login and directory listing is very quick. With the
third party software the ldap problems are present.

I made a ndstrace of ldap. The trace was displaying the following error.

Failed to resolve full context on connection 0xcbaa480, err = no such entry

To not is, that we don't have DNS Server in our environment. Unfortunatelly
we work at the moment with hosts files. SLP is also not installed. Could be
here the problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.
