I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. I'm trying to use
FreeRadius to connect users to our Novell network through Orinoco
wireless access points. I have setup FreeRadius on SUSE and have that
side working fine, my questions are more related to suggestions for
authentication methods and client connectivity. I guess I don't really
understand wireless communication that well, and was hoping someone could
help me. What authentication would work best, and contain very good
security. I think that LEAP is not secure enough, so I was thinking
either PEAP or TLS (EAP-TTLS). What are the differences between the two?
Also, I want the clients to be able to connect with as little user
configuration as possible. I don't need the Novell client to connect
because I'm going to use VirtualOffice to get them to their files.

One last thing, while trying to setup TLS on the FreeRadius server, it
requires a private key from the CA. When I try to export the Novell
Certificate Authority with the private key, it tells me that it's not
exportable. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks!
