Running a Netware 6.0 SP5 with NFAP/NFAW installed. Domain is AD 2003. Domain authentication enabled, WINS configured, Primary Domain Controller is set to the PDC emulator in the AD 2003 domain.

The policy "Microsoft Network Server: Digitally sign communications (always) is Disabled in the Local Security policy on the PDC emulator, and Not Defined in the Default Domain Controllers Policy, and the Default Domain Policy (the default setting when Not Defined is Disabled).

Here's the thing: When I attempt to access a Netware share using a machine with no Novell Client, it allows me on the very first time. The output of NMASMON looks like this:

It tries twice, and sets my incorrect login count to two. If I enter my username and password in the login box that opos up on the workstation, it tries again another two times, locking my account out in the process.

If I clear my account, and run a CIFSSTOP and CIFSSTRT on the server, it lets me in again, one time and one time only.

Any advice?
