I have a new Compaq Server with a DVD drive and downloaded OES2,SP1 DVD ISO.

After booting, Linux starts up and goes through a long list of things and then hangs saying that there is no medium in the drive, that is, it stops seeing the DVD.

I had a similar problem with a new Compaq desktop and was able to find a TID that allowed me to modify the linux startup files to reconginize my hardware.

Could this be the problem here, that after linux loads, it does not recognize the DVD Drive? Is there some way I can modify the linux startup files on this image to recognize my hardware?
