Hi everyone,
probably a simple one to sort out, not really sure how to search for it so ill just ask outright...

The way Netware used to work, you could have a website running off an NSS volume on the server for public use, simple enough

I now want to move this netware server to oes linux, and need to copy the data across, if I log in as admin so I can copy the needed data, the data copies fine but is then only useable by the root user on the linux box... hence no website

I tried a setfacl against the directory, under linux the directory shows with correct read and execute permissions when i run a getfacl, but if I run an ll to get the attributes, they all show as owner being admin, group root and nothing for everyone else

as soon as I do a manual chmod on one of the files, the webpage displays the single file as I would expect...
