BorderManager 3.9 SP1 proxy appears to have a problem with Firefox and
FTP sites.

On Firefox 3.0.5 through BMgr, this URL format:
ftp://ftp.domainname.com/ returns:

*******************
HTTP Error
Status : 401.1 Invalid Logon Credentials
Description : FTP: Login to server failed.
Note : If necessary, please contact your Systems Administrator for
resolution.
This page is generated by Novell BorderManager Proxy

On IE 6 through BMgr, this URL format: ftp://ftp.domainname.com/
returns a logon prompt.

On Firefox 3.0.5 direct to the internet, this URL format:
ftp://ftp.domainname.com/ returns a logon prompt.

On Firefox 3.0.5, this URL format:
ftp://username:password@ftp.domainname.com/ returns:

*******************
Please specify the password.
Login successful.
Folder Name [Jan 26 23:01] Dir
?
Generated by Novell BorderManager FastCache
*******************
And clicking on the Folder Name does nothing.

On IE 6, this URL format: ftp://username:password@ftp.domainname.com/
returns:

*******************
Folder Name
*******************
And I can click on the folder name and view the contents.

Is there a setting or patch that needs to be applied to fix this?

Thanks!
Ken
