Good evening,

We've recently installed Novell Client 4.91 SP5 on a Windows 2000 Pro SP4 machine, which appears to install fine. However, on reboot it doesn't bring up the Novell login prompt. Instead of boots straight through into Windows, with no mapped drives or connection to client trust. We can login over the top via the systray icon, but that isn't ideal. The only visible error the event log shows up is:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Date: 30/01/2009
Time: 19:16:13
User: N/A
Computer: DILBERT
The Novell Service Location service failed to start due to the following error:
The specified driver is invalid.

I've seen similar errors in other threads, and have tried the suggested editing the registry GINA to MSGINA.dll and then un-installing and re-installing. Also the putting of 'Netware Services' entry into the ServiceGroupOrder registry key but that didn't prove any use.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
