I was under the impression that with Netware 6.5 you could use DFS and the Netware Client was not a requirement. I am finding that the defined junctions wont be recognized unless you are actually connecting with client32?!

Using NW6.5.8 and Client 4.91 sp5 on WinXP box. Created a dfs junction on server A which points to subdirectory on server B. Map a drive to server A, browsing the tree using a NCP connection traverses the junction as designed.

Same setup with a net use connection to cifs (v3.27) share at same root level, browse tree and hit junction with error "Network path not found!"

So am I wrong? DFS DOES require client32/NCP? Apparently so...
