    Admin Defined Fields

We have a custom field which maps mailstop in eDirectory to Site in GroupWise. This works for our GroupWise 7 clients, but the GroupWise 8 clients do not show this field. Is there a problem with Admin Defined fields in Groupwise 8?

    Re: Admin Defined Fields

If Novell would fix the mailstop and quit mapping it to location in eDir the problem would be solved. They've only known about this for like 5+ years and still haven't bothered to fix it.

Once you define the field, you need to expose it in the address book and THEN you need to explain to your users why there's two mailstop fields in their address book.

One with a capital "M" and one without.

The problem I am having is that the Admin Defined field doesn't show in the
    GroupWise 8 address book.

Admin-Defined fields don't seem to work correctly with the Groupwise 8 HP1 client, while the Groupwise 7 client is displaying them properly.

If you've found a solution in the meantime, please let me know!
