Since last Tuesday we've had the iprint manager going into a hung state randomly. Sometimes it can take hours, sometimes it can take minutes. The only way to get it back online is to restart the service via running the command rcnovell-ipdms restart.

I'm noticing some interesting clues though. If a printer is disconnected from the network, it seems to be related to bringing down the manager quicker. If I shut the print agent down manually it seems stable for a while.

I've received the latest patch dated 29th January. This didn't help, the guy from Novell asked me to rebuild the database using TID 3006957 and our backup .xml file. I did this, this hasn't helped either.

If anyone has any clues I would be so grateful.
