I have a GWIA running on a BM3.7 SP2 server (Netware 6.0 SP3) with no
NAT. I
cannot seem to get the DNS filtering correct to allow the GWIA to do
DNS
queries.

With packet forwarding filters disabled, GroupWise email works sending
and
receiving. With the filters enabled, we receive email ok, but outbound

emails result in the GWIA reporting "450 MX lookup failure".

I have added the two "SMTP to GWIA" filters specified by Craig Johnson
in
his Configuring Filter Exceptions book (pages 206 and 207). I have
added two
DNS filters, one inbound and one outbound, as
follows:

DNS Lookup Out
-------------------
Source Interface: Private
Destination Interface: Public
Protocol: UDP
Destination Port(s): 53
Source Port(s): 1024-65535
Source Address Type: Any Address
Destination Address Type: Any Address

DNS Lookup In (response)
-------------------
Source Interface: Public
Destination Interface: Private
Protocol: UDP
Destination Port(s): 1024-65535
Source Port(s): 53
Source Address Type: Any Address
Destination Address Type: Any Address

Can anyone see where I have gone wrong? Have I missed something?
