A client's worklstation image runs XPsp2 with the latest XP client &
patches. When an attempt is made to browse to the file system of a Linux
server on the same LAN, there is a considerable (in the order of a
minute) delay. If the NetWare client is removed, the file browse is at
normal speed. If an attempt is made to brose to a NetWare server there
is no problem. Once connection has been established, connectivity speed
using the client is normal, however there is an application that needs
to access the Linux server and the delay is proving problematic.

I have tried various tips from this forum to address the issue, removing
NDS from the name resolution list and lowering the Name Resolution
Timeout to 1, but neither has had any effect. Any further suggestions on
where to look would be appreciated.
