One of the nice features we had in NetWare was to use NRM to delete large directories (it takes forever from Windows workstation, and we found that NRM initiated the delete from the server and was considerably faster)

The issue is that it seems to either not work at all or work terribly slowly with NRM on OES2 SP1 Linux.

Do you use the default home page (which puts you at File System Management) and then use the top part: /media/nss/VOL to find the directory and then delete it?

Or use the bottom section (NCP ID) and find the volume there and go into it and delete the directory?

It seems really flakey if you try the top item to delete the contents (NRM will show the directory being absent but mapping a drive via the 32-bit client on a Windows workstation shows that everything is still there).
